Heart matters: building the roof of our health

Heart is one type of the muscles we have in our bodies but most of the times is the one we forgot to train and at the same time the one which is more crucial to our health. If we consider that heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women but at the same time is a disease that can be cured (most of the times) with small adjustments in our lifestyle, then is in our hand if we need to pay a visit to the doctor or not at the next time.

Here are 5 small adjustments that can change our roof of health:

Daily cardiovascular training with at least 20 – 30 minutes which can be a walk at the park or on the gym’s bike. The options are unlimited.
Heart monitoring. Keep the monitoring of your heart by using a heart rate watch as you train or through your daily routine and keep with this way a note if there any improvements on your cardiovascular system.

Weight training. Lifting weights or any kind of resistance training had shown to improve the cardiovascular system up to 30% in only 3 months.

Group training. Try to get exercised in groups which you can enjoy more. With this way you’re making the exercise more enjoyable and the same time mind and heart are working together. This can keep you up motivated and close to your daily workout routine.

Balance diet. Supply your heart and your body with the necessary nutrients to remove all the unnecessary toxins and keep everything in a healthier function.
